12 volt 90 watt Universal Laptop Power Adapter

This universal laptop power adapter will power and charge your laptop through a 12v cigarette lighter socket. (Replacement mains adapters are available as well, click here for more information). The more powerful laptops become the more they drain their batteries. These 90 watt switching Mode DC/DC Regulated Automotive Power Adapter for Notebook Computers are specially designed for use with virtually all notebook computers and Tablets while you are travelling.

Recent tests have shown that using a DC/DC adapter uses 30% less power than an inverter which means you can use your laptop for longer.

The universal laptop adapter enables one common adapter to fit hundreds of different laptop models from a wide range of manufacturers including Acer, AST, Compaq, Dell, Fujitsu, IBM, Sony, Toshiba and 100's of others and the unusual plugs found on Dell, IBM and Sony laptops.

This is achieved by having a range of interchangeable tips that are specific to the laptop that simply plug on to the power out lead. To use your adapters with a different laptop just change the Tip. Unlike many cheaper universal power adapters, these ensure the polarity of the plug is correct for your laptop. Having the wrong polarity can seriously damage your laptop and your wallet!
